What's in the Shop this Week

Oh boy. Life has been such a whirlwind lately. I chose to open this business in the middle of the summer when I had this feeling that there just wasn't enough going on in my life and then suddenly, everything started back at once. Having multiple jobs at once is such a challenge, but a really fun one because I love EVERYTHING that I do! On top of it all, I am going to school for my Communication degree - gotta keep things interesting, though, right?

Family and friends keep asking me how I do it. My answer? Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

Tonight I am very excited to share a few items I've been working on lately. I've been keeping it simple with skirts and headbands and a few leggings here and there but I am working steadily in my studio on some new items that I hope to offer regularly. No previews yet so fingers crossed that you will love them - I know I do!

In Stock Items are Ready to Ship!

A few weeks ago I shared that I was getting ready to open my shop and earlier this week we made it official. I am now Tea and Olive LLC and could not be more excited!

I am offering both in stock, ready to ship items and custom items. You can see the in stock album here and the custom fabric choices here. Please feel free to message me on my Facebook page or at teaandolive@gmail.com to place an order.

I am currently offering each one at $12 plus shipping until I get everything going at a good pace. This is a great price so snatch them up before the price goes up! This sale will run through August 1st when  I will post a pricing chart with official prices. Sound good?

I look forward to making lots of little headbands for your little girls!

Mimi Pattern Tour

Hi everyone! Today I am so excited to be here for the opening day of the Mimi pattern tour and to share my most recent Mimi. As of a couple of months ago, Lil really already had plenty of summer clothes in her closet and I knew it was time to start sewing winter clothes. However, with this hot weather we are having, it can be hard to move to long sleeves when all you can picture are cute little summery pinafores and dresses.

When I was asked to be a part of the Mimi pattern tour I just knew I had to do a long sleeved one to kick start my winter sewing and it looks just like I imagined it would. Cozy and chic.

The Mimi comes with many options. You can choose between top or dress, short or long sleeves, and asymmetrical peterpan collar, fringe, or no collar. For mine I chose to do a long sleeved dress with no fringe or collar. The fabric I chose was busy enough and will have to be paired with some simple solid colored tights or leggings for sure.

I love the little cuffs at the end of the sleeves and the way the bottom facing creates a lovely little curve at the bottom.

This pattern just feels solid. I can't think of a better way to describe it than that. I come out with a solid garment every time and it is also really easy to put together.

I love love love this pattern and highly recommend it as a staple in every little girl's closet. You can buy it here at the Filles a Maman Etsy shop and use the code MIMITOUR20 for 20% off! Check out the Filles a Maman blog here, too. She will be releasing an adorable boys shirt pattern soon, too.

And last, but certainly not least, we have a giveaway for you. Get your entries in and good luck! a Rafflecopter giveaway
